Today's post is all about the Shiseido Syncro Skin Foundation. I've been trying this foundation out for approximately 8 weeks on and off and I thought I would share my thoughts and experience with the product
About the product...
The Shiseido Syncro Skin Foundation is described as 'a smart, oil-free, long-lasting foundation that beautifully enhances your complexion. Maintains skin’s clarity while preventing shine, creasing and fading all day long. Flawlessly undetectable like it belongs to your skin, this innovative formula with medium, buildable coverage and a modern matte, natural finish feels uniquely airy and silky on skin'
Shiseido is a leading Japanese beauty brand so the foundation also offers a lot of skincare benefits. Some of the ingredients include Thyme extract which helps prevent damage from oxidisation and also St John's Wort Extract which helps keep skin silky smooth and prevents roughness. So you get a two for one offer with this foundation as the skincare ingredients are pretty good!
What skin type?
This foundation is best suited for normal to combo(oily) skin. I have dry skin however I did enjoy wearing this foundation and with the right base and a little bit of work... you can make it work with dry skin. This is a fantastic foundation for mature ladies as it fills in fine lines and leaves the skin looking smooth and flawless while still being very natural.
Shade range & skin tones
There are 11 shades available and it is slightly limited in the selection not offering shades for Women of Colour. However if you have a warm(swallow) tone you are on a winner. With it being a Japanese brand it does cater more for those with swallow skin however there are 3 shades available for us cool toned girls.
Take a look...
Overall I am enjoying the foundation and feel it leaves the skin looking flawless while still giving a natural finish. My skin has also improved since using it so that's always a plus. It is €45 to purchase and I would recommend it for it's longevity and skincare benefits. I will continue to use it in the future and I will repurchase when I run out.
Hope you enjoyed reading this post. Have you tried this foundation? Let me know your thoughts! :)
Until next time,
