A simple twist on a dark smokey eye is to use navy instead of black. It is usually easier to blend and not as dramatic. Here I've done a very dark smokey eye using these colours. The main blue/navy is a pressed pigment from MAC's Christmas Collection. This would be great for nights out or evening events when the lighting would be darker and it will make the eyes more sultry.
