Over the month of April I've been trying and testing out all kinds of beauty products. This is my very first favourites post so please let me know what you think. I have a few stand out products that I've found myself reaching for almost every day. They're a mix of both highend and drugstore, so something for everyone! Without further rambling; here are my April Favourites. :)
1 - CAILYN O!WOW BRUSH & BB COMPACT
I'm not going to say too much about this brush and foundation as I've already talked about them in a previous post which you can check out here.
In three words... I Love them!
2 - L'OREAL INFALLIBLE FIXING MIST
In my opinion this is a must for finishing off any makeup look. It sets makeup in place while leaving the skin dewy and refreshed. It also smells so good! It costs approx. €12.99 and will last ages as you only need three/four sprays to lock everything in place
3 - SOAP & GLORY BEAUTY SLEEP ACCELERATOR
I have extremely dry skin and this product has been an absolute lifesaver. It is a night and flight cream which keeps the skin hydrated for hours on end. I use this as my daily moisturiser (my skin is that dry) and I cannot tell you the difference it has made. My skin looks and feels soft and my makeup is applying effortlessly since working this into my skincare routine. For anyone like me, I highly recommend you trying it out!
4 - RIMMEL - KATE TRIO CHEEK PALETTE
I posted a picture of this on my Instagram and since then I've completely fallen head over heels with this little beauty. As you can see it is a blush, bronzer and highlighter and is perfect for pale skin. The colours are subtle and give a lovely naturally look. An overall good inexpensive product.
5 - YSL BLUR PRIMER
I've been using this product since Christmas (I had a sample) and finally purchased the full size for €39 in boots. This primer fills in pores, fine lines and gives luminosity to the skin. It looks good under any foundation. Invest in a good primer and foundation and your makeup will always look good!
6 - Top Three April Lipsticks
A - Rimmel Kate Series no. 30
This is a beautiful rich berry that suits all skin tones.
B - MAC Velvet Teddy
I only picked this shade up recently and I have been using it on everyone! It is the perfect nude shade for tanned skin with just the right amount of brown undertone.
C - MAC Flamingo
As we are coming into summer this is a great fun shade. It's a bright peach coral cremesheen. I love it with softer eye looks to add a pop of colour. This will be much loved throughout summer.
Hope you enjoyed reading this blog. Have you tried any of these products? What are your beauty faves? Leave a comment below and let me know.
Until next time,
